Day-16 was mainly chores, as I couldn’t get in the workshop to start the bench project due to the workmen taking over the garden, so I instead attended an online auction (with Batemans of Stamford) to try and get some helmets for my local Scout group…
Unfortunately I missed out, as they went over the budget we had available, but it was fun participating and there were some proper bargains (vintage bikes going for £35!) so I’ll keep my eye out in future.
The afternoon saw me popping to Aldi again for some provisions, where I also saw they’ve got Winter cycling apparel in stock, which I shared with my cycling club, The Cyclists of Stamford…
